Where America Started USA, a Pa. Nonprofit corporation (the "Committee") is organized under the Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(4).

Gifts to the Committee are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal or State income tax purposes. Payments by other persons and companies may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses under Internal Revenue Code § 162 if the donation bears a direct relationship to the donor's business and is made with a reasonable expectation of financial return commensurate with the amount of the donation.
